I. How to Register On-site
Patients holding passports must register at the manual registration window, which is located in the Outpatient Hall on the LG Floor of the Multi-functional Building. Those with Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Home Return Permit), Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents (Taiwan Compatriot Card), Residence Permits for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Residents, or Foreigners' Permanent Residence Permits in China may register either at the manual registration window or at any self-service registration and payment machine. If you encounter unrecognizable documents or experience a failed registration attempt, please visit the manual registration window for assistance.
II. How to Make an Appointment
1.On-site Appointment
Patients can schedule an appointment through the manual booking process at the Convenience Service Consultation Desk located in the Outpatient Hall on the LG Floor of the Multi-functional Building. On-site appointments may be secured up to 7 days in advance. For instance, if a patient wishes to book an appointment with a doctor for the following Wednesday, they can do so as early as the current Wednesday. The service operates from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Sunday, with a lunch break from 12:00 to 14:00 each day.
2.Telephone Appointment
Patients may contact 023-67860666 to reach the appointment service for registration. Telephone appointments can be scheduled up to 7 days in advance. Our hours of operation are from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Sunday, with a lunch break observed from 12:00 to 14:00 each day.
3.Request an Appointment During the Consultation
During the medical consultation, patients can request an appointment with the attending specialist, and the doctor will schedule the next visit.
III. Obtain the Appointment Number
Patients with scheduled appointments can acquire their registration numbers by presenting a valid form of identification. Acceptable IDs include the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Home Return Permit), the Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents (Taiwan Compatriot Card), the Residence Permit for Residents of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, and the Foreigner's Permanent Residence Permit in China. Registration numbers can be obtained at the manual registration window or through self-service machine located in the Outpatient Hall on the LG Floor of the Multi-functional Building. Please note that patients holding passports must visit the manual registration window to retrieve their registration numbers.
IV. Check-in
1.Before visiting the doctor, please bring your registration form and check in at either the self-check-in machine or the triage desk located in the waiting area.
2.Please complete your check-in within the designated time frame, either at the triage desk or using the self-check-in kiosk. Once you have successfully checked in, your consultation sequence number will appear on the screen. Please wait for your turn based on this number.
3.Patients who have not checked in are ineligible for medical treatment.
V. Late for the Appointment
Patients who arrive after the designated check-in cutoff will be deemed late and consequently placed at the end of the treatment queue for that time slot. For instance, if a patient has an appointment scheduled between 8:30 and 9:00 but checks in at 9:15, they will be added to the end of the queue for the 9:00 to 9:30 time slot, as 9:15 falls within that range.
VI. Fail to Keep the Appointment
Patients are deemed to have missed their appointments if they do not attend by the agreed date and time (by 17:30 on that day). If a patient accumulates three missed appointments within a 30-day period, their ability to register for future appointments will be suspended for 60 days.
VII. Cancel the Appointment
If patients cannot attend their scheduled hospital appointments, please call the switchboard at 023-67860666 at least one day in advance to request the cancellation of the registration.
